The Burbank y is a leader in providing licensed, national Association for the education of Young children (naeyc) accredited early care and education (ece) programs. Our ece programs serve up to 230 Young children daily in our infant, toddler, and preschool programs. The programs use a play-based approach that enables children to learn as they play, develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. We are dedicated to serving children diagnosed with neurodivergent disorders. Our teachers work with parents to detect the early signs of possible neurodivergent disorders in preschool age children and, when indicated, encourage families to seek advice and evaluation from their pediatrician or regional center. Our ece programs offer low teacher-child ratios and certified and master's level teachers. Lesson plans are used that maximize cognitive and social-emotional development to support the successful integration of children diagnosed with neurodivergent disorders into the program's general population.
