During 2022, the Butte Food Bank granted funds to the Butte Hill Center for Art Education and Outreach, a 501(c)(3) organization, to purchase pottery equipment in an effort to sustain the Empty Bowls event, the Backpack Program's annual fundraiser. The event would not be possible without the hundreds of cermic bowls provided by the Butte Hill Center for Art Education and Outreach specifically for Empty Bowls.
