Program areas at Cafa-Third Horizon

1) production: third Horizon successfully completed its production project support through the development of short films by seven (7) miami-based caribbean filmmakers who were each awarded a $7,000 project grant. Third Horizon also supported the post-production processing of each of the films and programmed them for the opening night of third Horizon film festival 2024. 2)distribution:through our video-on-demand platform and educational licensing initiatives, third Horizon distribution supported 100+ filmmakers. We applied for a $100,000 grant re-vamp our platform to increase our reach and effectiveness. On account of our down-time, we added no new films to the catalog; however, we did secure third party licensing sales of about $5000 in 2023.3)exhibition:in 2023 third Horizon hosted multiple screenings in miami, Florida, new york & new orleans.
