Program areas at Caldwell Foundation for Educational Opportunity
Provided 53 scholarships to 28 Caldwell School District graduating seniors to be used for post-secondary education at colleges, universities and vocational schools.
Provided financial assisting for the performing & fine arts. Provided funding for band, orchestra and choir students to attend All State and All Northwest honor events as well as providing funding assistance to send orchestra and choir groups to the Anaheim Heritage Festival. We also provided funding for students to attend a performance of The Secret Garden. 77 students benefitted from these programs.
Paid expenses for literacy projects by providing funding for Scholastic News subscriptions for first and second grades benefitting approximately 1,042 students in 45 classes at 6 schools.
Provided funds for educational enrichment activities to Caldwell High School. Programs were limited this year due to Covid-19. Activities included assistance with sending welding students to the National Skills USA Welding Contest and assistance with sending a student to the TRIO Leadership Conference. Four students benefitted from these programs.
Provided funding for Math, Science & Engineering for 18 students to attend a Robotics State Tournament.
