The Caldwell Senior Center is a multipurpose facility serving Caldwell county residents age 50 and better and their spouses. The Center provided program and activities to meet the social, physical, and intellectual needs of those who participate. Services include health screenings, medicare counseling, information and referral, health and wellness programming, recreational activities, educational programs, and legal assistance. In the current fiscal year, the Center provided 32,545 units of service to 2,630 unduplicated persons. The shiip program generated 349,563 in medicare savings for its participants during 2023. Programs are offered in-person, virtually, and by phone. The Center has expanded its technology education programs to help bridge the digital divide. The Center serves at the focal point of aging resources for Senior citizens, their families and caregivers, and other professionals in the community.
