Program areas at CAC
Each year, the Club presents fine Art exhibitions at locations throughout the state, giving members and students the opportunity to have their work juried/judged and exhibited for fellow members, Art collectors and scholars, and the general public to view, learn from andenjoy.
The Club publishes an award-winning quarterly newsletter, a 40-page publication designed to inform and educate Club members and the general public about both historical and current issues involving traditional fine Art. The newsletter is distributed to individuals as well as to alarge number of museums, schools, Art organizations and others throughout the country, with a total circulation of approximately 4,500, three times per year.
The Club offers myriad educational programs, for both artists and patrons, students, scholars, children and the public. Programs include paint and sculpt-outs, lectures, painting and sculpting demonstrations, critique sessions, mentoring, children's Art contests, Art retreats, museum tours, master artist workshops, career development, panel discussions and family days to encourage Art learning activities desiged for children, adolescents, parents and grandparents. In addition, the Club offers special programming for collectors' circle members that focuses on education and relationships with leading artists and fellow collectors, and offers members the opportunity to learn about Art and meet leading artists while networking with other business leaders.
