Program areas at California Attorneys For Criminal Justice
Publication of three editions of the forum legal journal.
Propose and pursue legislation to benefit the defense bar and preserve the rights of persons accused of crime, with positions on over 100 bills in 2023-24 legislative session, and several sponsored bills which were enacted into law.
Presentation of several annual seminars and multiple webinars for legal education and action with over 2,000 unique attendees.
Conduct surveys and pra requests for records in order to prepare a report on failings in the California Justice system, sponsor and present the national Criminal trial advocacy program attended by law students from schools across the country.
