California Black Womens Health Project

California Black Women's Health Project is the only 501c 3 nonprofit organization solely dedicated to improving hte health of California's Black women and girls through advocacy, education, policy and outreach. We are committed to advocating for policies and practices that promote ans improve physical, spiritual, mental and emotional wellbeing of the state's 1.2 million black women and girls. We seek to empower women to become active participants in improving our health status. Our efforts are geographically concentrated in the four California regions with the highest population of black women and girls - Los Angeles, Alameda, Sacramento counties and the Inland Empire Riverside and San Bernardino counties
