TEACHER RESOURCES: Distribution of an educational newspaper supplement for students in grades 3-8,"What's Growin' On?".Over 70,000 copies were distributed around the state.Three resources were researched, dev eloped & updated. Two new resources were researched, developed & dis tributed.Taste & Teach program distributed a binder with lesson plans to 350 teachers. Each teacher also received grocery store gift cards to purchase the fruits & vegetables that correspond to each lesson. A second year of nutrition curriculum was developed with newsletters & resources for Fresno Unified School District. Conducted a Super Saturday webinar for educators with hands-on activities to use in their classrooms, held a zoom webinar and sent out resource materials.
AITC CONFERENCE: The annual AITC Conference for educators was held in person in Ventura , CA for 175 attendees. Workshops, keynote speakers and field trips w ere presented.
TEACHER COMMUNICATIONS: New resources on website, Outstanding Educator program, and monthly e- newsletter for teachers "Cream of the Crop." The Outstanding Educator program includes Literacy for Life grants to schools/teachers for ag e ducation in the classrooms. A regular social media campaign provided n ew ag info and activities for educators.
Other Programs include Grants, County Services, Writing Contest, Conference s and Exhibits, USTP (University, and Service Agreements.
