California Innocence Project Foundation ("CIPF") was incorporated in 2021 and in its initial stages of fundraising.CIPF will provide services to those who have been wrongfully convicted of crimes they did not commit. In addition, CIPF will provide support to innocence organizations and other legal nonprofit organizations seeking to free wrongfully convicted individuals from prison. This may be in the form of educational support such as legal training or through direct funding, allowing innocence organizations to continue or expand their current operations to ensure innocent people are freed from prison.
