Program areas at CRPA
Magazine publication.bi-monthly magazine to over 30,000 members and others who have an interest in firearms related matters. Articles include legal information regarding firearms care and use of firearms; pending legislation at the state and local level related to firearms; personal anecdotes about firearm care, use and training; competitive shooting results; information on shooting ranges in California; general membership information; and stories related to hunting and wildlife.
The Association employs a governmental affairs liason who communicateswith statewide legislators on matters related to firearms legislation.the Association also coordinates efforts with local governments toeducate the local governments on matters related to preemtion of statelaws regarding firearms.
Membership program includes reminders for renewing membership dues;information on member benefits such as being able to compete instatewide firearms competition; membership drives; hosting a familyshooting event; and having a membership coordinator to answer questionsthat members may have. Members enjoy the rights specified in thebylaws of the Association.
