Annual conference - csna holds an annual three day conference filled with educational breakout sessions and other conference sessions covering topics such as Nutrition education, finances, labor issues, School safety and child development.

Membership - membership provides a forum for personal and professional development of members through innovative educational programs, public policy programs, conferences, workshops, and chapter meetings. Membership includes a subscription to poppy seeds and the membership directory.a portion of membership dues is paid to national and other chapters.

Industry seminars - educational seminars on issues pertaining to the School food service industry.

Public policy - educational information is provided on matters of public policy relating to the food service industry as it pertains to schools.publication & directoy - poppy seeds is published quarterly and includes membership information, industry news on Nutrition and professional development, School management techniques, and a schedule of upcoming events.
