California State PTA - Henry E Huntington PTA Santa Monica

Promote the education and welfare of over 700 students, parents and 37 teachers of the Henry E. Huntington Middle School. Events included recognizing volunteers at the Halo Awards Ceremony, Back to School Night, Career Day, Cultural Arts, Curriculum Lab, 6th grade dances, Family Life, Fifth Grade Information Night, New Student Orientation, Open House, 8th Grade Promotion, Noontime Fun Activities, Reflections Program, Room represenatives and Staff Appreciation which included 9,218 volunteer hours. Due to COVID, we had to change the way our PTA raised funds for our two major fundraising activities, Parent Party and Hauntington Breakfast. However, our volunteers worked very hard to control costs to minimize the impact to our organization.
