Program areas at California Urological Association
Education Policy Programs: Health Policy Forum held annually provides approx. 200 urologists and health professionls state and national health policy updates, legal/regulatory information, and workshops on impoving practice efficiency and patient care. (200 physicians)
Annual Meeting and Speaker: Provide open forum at annual meeting held annually for all California Urologists to express and propose solutions to concerns over areas affecting patient care, standards of proctice, new technology, and regulatory matters. Ideas and best practice guidelines are shared. An expert speaker presentation on the latest advances in patient wellness and urological health issues provides attendees important and timely updates for one year out. (100 physicians). Provide support for speakers at local chapter meetings.
CUA Report newsletter mailed 2 to 3 times per year to allow members to seek current info on standards of practice and other issues relevant to quality of care and practice management. Also provide regular email bulletins and updates to all California urologists re: urology health issues and new technology and advocacy matters.
