Program areas at Camden Lutheran Housing
Property manager for two low-income Housing tax credit projects totaling 81 units of affordable rental Housing. In addition, acquires and rehabilitates abandoned/vacant properties for community revitalization to provide Housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income families. Currently, several Housing projects are in the development stage. Additionally, the organization conducts community development to bring people together physically, socially, and economically in accordance with the north Camden neighborhood plan.
Works together with other unrelated nonprofit organizations in partnership to revitalize north Camden to improve the overall quality of life and to provide assistance in implementing the north Camden neighborhood plan. This is completed with funding received from the state of new jersey- neighborhood revitalization tax credit program.
