Juvenile arthritis is a lifelong disease that destroys joints, bones, and muscles, making everyday activities or even just moving - difficult, robbing children of the joy of just being kids. Camp Cambria helps change lives, not just for a week, but forever by helping kids: - find a place they belong, together with other kids who understand the struggles and journey that comes with juvenile arthritis- learn essential coping and stress management techniques- gain independence by mastering skills such as how to administer their own medicines- take part in outdoor activities, like swimming and archery, at their own pace- create friendships and build confidence that will last a lifetime- most of all have fun and just be kids.
