The purpose of this organization is the development of an interpretive center for Camp Ford which will include a museum, visitor's center, and auditorium. Camp Ford evolved into a prisoner of war encampment during the Civil War. This organization is dedicated to preserving an important part of U.S. history. At the end of 2004, fund raising efforts have been under way to secure funds to purchase real estate and construct museum. Education and future museum of civil war site.
