The goal of Camp Rising Sun is to provide children with a traditional Camp experience while recognizing and meeting their health needs. In order to achieve this goal, Camp Rising Sun has to be staffed 24 hours a day by medical professionals, fully trained counselors, and many local volunteers. All funds solicited from contributors go towards meeting the many physical costs of running a Camp. The purpose of Camp Rising Sun is strictly not for profit. Provide Camp experience for cancer patients.
