In Kenya, we partnered with local communities to construct one house for children living in extreme poverty and provided basic necessities for 33 impoverished families with children 278 people. In Philippines CDK provided school supplies and supplemental food to 222 kids and their families. CDK also provided earthquake relief and helped with a few medical needs of impoverished kids and families. More details are included in Schedule O.
BIBLE PROGRAMS PHILIPPINES KENYA UKRAINE USA CDK provided curriculum, encouragement, and financial support for Bible teaching ministries in all countries in which it works. CDK currently has a curriculum of 3 years of Bible lessons in English and Spanish. Work began on a new year of lessons. CDK also directly distributed 1,300 Bibles to 17 schools serving 4,340 students not including indirect support of Bible distribution of more than 10,000 Bibles in Ukraine as part of war relief efforts. Financially, the largest investment in this area was in a CDK building in the Philippines which provides meeting space for local CDK groups and events and the national office of CDK Philippines. It has also served as a warehouse and marshaling area for humanitarian aid during recent typhoon and earthquake disasters.
