Program areas at Cancer Bridges

Cancer Bridges implements a wide variety of activities designed to positively impact health and wellbeing by reducing the psychological side effects of Cancer (e.g. Depression, anxiety) and increasing the knowledge and coping skills needed to manage the illness and related life disruptions. From diagnosis, through treatment, and in transition to life beyond Cancer, the following programming is offered at no cost to those with a Cancer diagnosis as well as their friends and family: 1) short-term supportive counseling 2) creative expression classes 3) educational lectures 4) family and youth programs 5) health and wellness activities and 6) social activities.
