Program areas at Candy Store Foundation
The Foundation produced and hosted an event: "racing on wood wheels" featuring ed archer, nationally-known participant and expert for many decades on easy automobile racing. We produced a professional video of his presentation that we will make available to interested organizations and individuals. The event was attended by approximately 150 people.
Classes form the academy of art university continue to come to the Candy Store club to learn more about the history of the automobile using the Foundation's 1933 packard and approximately fifty other cars spanning the period of 1902 through the present day.
Once again, our 1933 packard was used in the annual burlingame, California fourth of july parade which helps us to "tell the story" of the Foundation and its work. Much interest was generated.
