Canine Angels

Dasha was a 1 year old rescue when she was adopted and spent 6 months in intensive training as a PTSD anxiety and depression relief service dog. Dasha was placed with a scientific researcher employed by Clemson University who suffered from all of the above and was in jeopardy of losing her employment. 6 Months of training with the 37 year old woman and communication with the university to allow for ADA "reasonable accommodation" in the job and life is good again.

Archie was hound mix rescued at 6 months of age - he was a stray most likely dumped by a hunter because he would not hunt. A year of training and Archie now serves a 7 year old boy with autism going to school with him and spending 24 7 keeping him safe. Archie has given this boy a new independence and a new life.

Louie. is a 1 year old Weimaraner who had a slightly botched surgery and due to a serious scar seemed unadoptable at the shelter. We adopted him and trained him for 1 year to be a mobility and stability service dog. We paired Louie with a 20 year career nurse who suffered a horrific fall lost her ability to work and had issues with walking balance and standing up. Louie is trained to keep her steady by bracing against her legs and assisting her in walking. He is a life changer for her.
