Program areas at Canines-N-Kids Foundation
The paws for a cure summit is a high profile meeting to discuss challenges and opportunities in developing innovative, integrated approaches to better medicines and a cure for the cancers children and canines both develop. Summit attendees included nearly 100 leading stakeholders from around the country. During the summit, panels of experts established recommendations and priorities for comparitive research.
Community engagement programs to help raise awareness and funds for potentially transformative cancer research to help kids and canine companions.
The two by four race against childhood & canine cancer, a unique timed 5k race and un-timed 1 mile dog job/fun run, was run on september 29, 2018. Nearly 350 two and four-legged athletes participated to raise awareness and funding for cutting edge research in the cancers that kids and dogs both develop.
