ART PARK EXPERIENCE: In 2019, 18,000 people visited Caponi Art Park, individually or with an organized group. Through the blending of art & nature they experienced the art park as a single, unified work of art. Visitors explored miles of walking paths in the sculptured landscape of rock walls & shaped earth, finding conventional sculptures along the way. This welcoming, natural environment makes art more approachable to people of all ages & backgrounds.
GLACIER HILLS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OF ARTS & SCIENCE PARTNERSHIP: In this nine month long residency program, 1st & 5th grade students developed their observation & visual communication skills through monthly in-class nature journaling workshops & field trips to Caponi Art Park.
