Program areas at Carbon180

Our policy team conducted analyses, hosted workshops, and provided education and outreach to policymakers to support increased federal funding for Carbon Removal research and development as well as new policies that will help scale the deployment of Carbon Removal solutions in the near future. We also grew our environmental justice initiative, launching our regranting work.
Our science & innovation team explores frontier Carbon Removal solutions and ensures our policy work is rooted in the best available science. They work with entrepreneurs to understand their barriers to cabron Removal deployment.
Carbon180 works on education around climate change and Carbon Removal solutions. To do this, we produce communication materials and host a repository of information on Carbon Removal on our website. We shared our perspectives on policy, research, and business developments through our "the Carbon copy" newsletter. With over 8,000 subscribers, we focused on sharing the field's latest news, science and job opportunities. We also publish "the deep end" where we share detailed perspectives on up to date policy news, with over 2,900 subscribers. We also have an active prescence on social media, with nearly 10,000 followers on twitter.
