Program areas at CECU
Government affairs: provided federal and state legislative advocacy on issues relating to postsecondary access, affordability, and accountability; fair treatment for section 102 institutions in other federal programs; worked for reasonable regulation and regulatory oversight at the federal and state levels; and led grassroots mobilization efforts aimed at gaining widespread participation of Cecu members in advocacy outreach.
Convention, conferences and seminars: provided Cecu members with timely information and networking platforms for federal regulatory compliance, management best practices, interaction with officials and experts from outside the sector, and exposure to new products and services.
Communications/public affairs: worked to advance the image, reputation and perception of the Career college sector through a wide variety of outreach efforts, programs and channels; maintained regular media relations program and crafted regular communications vehicles, including print publications, digital publications, website blogs, etc.
