Carolina Correctional Services operates in Cary, NC and has a mission to provide community-based supervision for criminal defendants released on bond pending a court date or non-compliant individuals ordered onto monitoring. Recently, Wake County contracted with CCS for 78 units/slots and required a self-pay component for eligible defendants who have not yet migrated into county contracted slots. Program areas at Carolina Correctional Services

Wake county contracted with Carolina Correctional Services (ccs) for 78 units/slots, however required ccs to have a self-pay component for defendants who are eligible but have not yet migrated down into county contracted slots threshold. This allows for the gps monitoring of more than 78 eligible defendants at any one time thereby allowing the county to reduce its actual daily rate paid for the overall monitoring service benefit. Ccs managed and operated a turn-key service for the county which included staffing for both field work and a court liaison positions.
