th Anniversary Celebration & Ensemble Productions Produced activities to celebrate CBT's 50th Anniversary featuring 2 Original Productions (Swopera "A Spoken Word Opera”and Red Summer) by CBT's National Award Winning Playwright CBT's Executive | Artistic Director Linda Parris-Bailey, hostingand presenting New Orleans’ Junebug Theatre's Gomela "To Return Movement of our Mother Tongue” and CBT's 30th Annual Youth Theatre Festival; and coordinating and producing CBT's 50th Anniversary Gala Celebration Programand Diner Spending for the full production of anniversary activities exceeded
Leveraging A Network for Equity (LANE) - Continuation of Cohort Activity and implementation of Mellon Grant Activites CBT implemented the first full year of Melion Grant multi year funded activities that allowed CBT to increase staff size, increase staff salanes & add health insurance benefits for staff CBT added 2 new full ime program managers positions to facilitate development and implementation of CBT's Digital Storytelling Training and Services and CBT's Youth Programming Services Inadditonto this, CBT put into place its organizational legacy plans to facilitate the retirement of its Executive / Artistic Director andthe transition of the organization to new staff leadership CBT utilized $323,407 in funding previously received fromthe Mellon Foundation to implement these improvements T
