Casa of the River Region supports and promotes court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children, helping them thrive in safe, permanent homes. They serve children in the family court system who have been abused and/or neglected and are in danger of, or have been, removed from their home and placed in the foster care system. The cases can last anywhere from 12 to 18 months or longer.

Cases can last anywhere from 12 to 18 months, or in some instances, longer. the objective is always permanency for the child/children. We were able to serve approximately 593 children in 2021.
