Program areas at Casa de La Familia
CALVCB: Casa de la Familia is dedicated to help victims, as well as their families, who have suffered an emotional injury as a result of a crime. If you are a victim of crime, or a family member of a victim, you may be eligible to receive counseling at Casa de la Familia through the California Victims Compensation Program (CalVCP). Casa de la Familia also offers low-cost services for those not eligible to receive benefits through the CalVCB program.
Casa de La Familia contracts with the los angeles police departments domestic abuse response team (dart) program, which pairs police officers with trained advocates to respond to domestic violence incidents.
Nogales psychological counseling contracts Casa de La Familia to provide specialized care for clients who have experienced trauma-related injuries. When a client at nogales psychological presents with trauma that requires focused therapeutic in-tervention, they are referred to Casa de La Familia.
Cdlf provides sexual assault support groups for cal oes and ovw, private services for clients who have insurance and/or pay out of pocket, a grant with the city of La to work at the justice center and provide crisis services, a grant for the city of santa ana to provide crisis services at the justice center, and dv training services.
