In 2022, the organization managed and partcipated in a number of cultural and educational programs for adults and children focused on the contributions of italians to the development of Washington dc as well as participated in assisting with cultural exchange programs for students from italy to learn about the united states. The organization also launched the italian legacy lecture series that seeks to engage italian and italian americans in discussions on respective legacies in the united states.
In 2022, the organization initiated an italian legacy grant program that engages university level students to perform research on the contributions of italian and italian americans to the nations capital and its surrounding area.
In 2022 the organization volunteered and accepted the role as editor and publisher of the voce Italiana newspaper. The voce Italiana is the voice of italian americans in the greater Washington dc area that has been published since 1961. The organization aims to make the newspaper a platform for the entire community and a place to share the news, happenings and accomplishments of italians and italian americans, locally and beyond to enjoy articles on italian culture and heritage.
