CasaSito Guatemala New Classrooms for Sacatepequez and Alta Verapaz Youth Development Centers. We allocated special grant money for the purchase and remodelling costs of new classrooms (at new office locations) for both centers of CasaSito Guatemala.

Volunteer Program with Redlands University and University of Michigan. A group of speech therapy students from Redlands University was hosted by us to assist the students of Semilla de Esperanza y Amor near Antigua, Guatemala. We also coordinated their associated tourist activities. In addition, we coordinated logistics and accompaniment for the engineering working group Sa Nima from the University of Michigan in their work providing sustainable design solutions and training in improved stoves, washing machines, and logic engineering with students and families of CasaSito in Alta Verapaz.

CasaSito Guatemala Education Fund. We support CasaSito Guatemala's Youth Development Program which supported 53 junior high, 37 high school, and 23 university students, with scholarships, extra curricular activities/clubs and materials etc., as well as workshops for their families. These students assisted two centers, one in Antigua, Sacatepequez, and one in San Cristobal, Alta Verapaz. We are also support the Teacher Development Program which trained 14 teachers and accompanied them transferring new skills and knowledge to their schools.

Emergency fund. Small grants were made to scholars and families in urgent need.
