Peacehealth rides bike share:sponsored by peacehealth and administered as a partnership between the city of eugene, university of Oregon, and lane transit district, peacehealth rides is a self-service network of bike share bikes and hubs. Bicycles are publicly available and can be rented via the peacehealth rides app. Equipment is publicly owned; program funds circulate locally. Cascadia Mobility manages all aspect of program operations and marketing.active transportation programming:valet & event bike parking services - designed to encourage and facilitate cycling to events by providing convenient and secure bike parking solutions. Recognizing the barrier that inadequate bike parking can pose to potential event attendees, Cascadia Mobility offers a service aimed at event organizers who wish to promote sustainable transportation options.free bike share memberships - Cascadia Mobility believes that access to clean, affordable transportation should be a basic right. Funded in part by a grant from the Oregon health authority (oha), the peacehealth rides access plan is designed to offer free bike share memberships to qualifying individuals. This program is delivered in partnership with local community based organizations including food for lane county, homes for good, and plaza de nuestra comunidad.community bike initiatives - Cascadia Mobility is helping to foster a vibrant biking culture through active participation and organization of numerous community bike initiatives, including community bike rides, bike education, and active transportation encouragement programming. Our commitment to enhancing sustainable Mobility and improving community health is reflected in our diverse involvement in events and programs that encourage people of all ages to bike more often.accomplishments: - expanded peacehealth rides by 50 bikes - reduced minimum bike share age to 16 - celebrated peacehealth rides' 5th birthday - peak week: 13,527 trips by scooter & bike share, week of june 5th - enlisted 20 uo student ambassadors - organized a regional shared Mobility working group - held first spanish-language learn to ride events - enrolled over 100 access plan members - gave away 170 helmets - peak bike valet: 370 bikes parked free at eugpride, august 12th - installed 124 scooter hubs
Superpedestrian e-scooter share (limited duration program):through a contract with superpedestrian, Cascadia Mobility operated the city of eugene's permit-based e-scooter share pilot from march - december 2023. This initiative meaningfully expanded the number of trips taken by shared transportation. Equipment was privately owned; local control was limited. A portion of program funds remained local to cover operating costs, the majority of revenue was retained by superpedestrian. Share pilot program had 400 active scooters.
