Program areas at Casey Trees
Tree Operations: Initial activities involve the community outreach and engagement associated with finding new tree installation locations. Location strategy is in direct relation to the lack of investment in communities and lack of canopy coverage of said neighborhoods. Procurement, installation, maintenance, pruning, and tracking of trees are fundamental to the Tree Operations Department scope of work.
Communications & Development: The Communications and Development department connects people to trees, through trees, and to Casey Trees. The department achieves this by providing high-quality content, memorable experiences, outstanding customer service, and expanding the organization's support network. They complete activities that disseminate information about Casey Trees to encourage engagement in, and broad support, of its work.
Casey Tree Farm: Activities geared toward the production of trees and strengthening of Casey Trees' support network.
Education: Activities associated with the development, implementation and evaluation of tree-based education and training programs.
Policy & Land Conservation: Promotes tree-friendly urban design, preservation of land, and community action in support of our mission
Program Development: Activities that are not of sufficient size, scale, or cost to warrant tracking on an individual basis.
