Program areas at Casino Road Kids Ministries
Our mentoring group called 'the Leaders' engages 12 preteen boys in a supportive community to talk about leadership, identity, respecting others, and dreaming about their future. The group built a community garden for the school, and attended a MLB baseball game at end of year.
Our Kids Club program offers children a safe and fun place to learn about the timeless truths of Jesus Christ, enjoy interactive games, eat a warm meal, and memorize scripture. Kids Club meets on Thursday evenings on Casino Road. This year we were able to share the gospel message with 162 children. Our average attendance was 46 children.
Our Homework Club programs offers children a quiet and supportive place to receive help with school work, strengthen academic skills, eat a warm meal, and play games with their peers. Homework Clubs meet every Monday & Wednesday evenings, and Tuesday afternoons on Casino Road. This year we feed and provided homework assistance to 141 children. Our average attendance was 49 children.
