the mother cabrini health foundation - to improve the health and well-being of vulnerable new yorkers, bolster the health outcomes of diverse communities, eliminate barriers to care and bridge gaps in health services. Services approved for funding include case management services, seaway house enhancement, parenting education program, foster care visitation program and migrant outreach.
Retired senior volunteer program - this program utilizes the skills and talents of retired seniors in volunteer positions.
Psycho-social club - a rehabilitation program that provides support and education for individuals living with a chronic mental illness.
Foster grandparents - allows senior citizens to provide support to children/youth who need extra attention and encouragement in day care, school, head start, and other settings.
Maternity services - provides counseling, case management and financial assistance to individuals/couples dealing with issues, problems or financial need during the time of pregnancy or parenting of an infant/toddler.
Incest offender group - provides clinical services to incest offenders and incest offenders' partners.
Federal emergency management agency - the program provides funds for emergency housing and food needs.
Counseling - offers numerous counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
Department for youth - provides funding for counseling services to high risk youth.
Community and parish service - services include workshops, outreach and networking, collaborating with parishes on public policy issues, project rachel, and other outreach services.
Nys unified court system - this is a dispute resolution and conflict program for st. lawrence and franklin counties. the goal is to settle disputes throught mediation. the trained mediators work with the courts, special education programs and with the agricultural community.
One work source - provides services to out-of-school youth who are preparing to enter or who have entered the work force.
Enhanced multidisciplinary team initiative - this program addresses financial exploitation and elder abuse of older adults by bringing together entities with unique resources and skills to form coordinated enhanced multidisciplinary teams.
Transitional employment - the pre-vocational program funded through nys ohm and st. lawrence county community services assists individuals interested in gaining or improving employment skills.
