Program areas at CFD
Adult outpatient: work with issues related to individual and Family transitions, including divorce, grief & loss, child abuse, child sexual abuse, step-family adjustment, difficulty in relationships, and personal growth and Development. Cfd's therapists are trained in a variety of approaches and techniques which can be tailored to the unique needs of each client and or Family they serve.
Integrated community care management: collaborative project between Center for Family Development and springfield Family physicians. A multidisciplinary team consisting of a nurse care manager, case manager, community health worker, medical assistant and therapist assist patients with complex medical conditions. Some of the areas the team can help with are housing resources, food shortage needs, assistance with navigating the medical system, attending medical appointments and coordinating care between medical providers.
Child outpatient: (same as above). Also focus on problems such as at-risk and delinquent behavior, running away, anxiety, depression, impulse control, anger management, eating disorders and body image, relationships, low self-esteem, difficulty in school, and other problems related to child, adolescent and Family adjustment.
