Center for Family Health - Malta

The kishhealth system Center for Family Health Malta was formally tri-county community Health Center. The Center is primarily staffed by a physician assistant and nurse practitioners with part-time coverage from a Family practice physician. Services provided at both the Malta and sycamore locations are primary care for adults, children and infants, annual physicals (including pap smears and breast exams), well child exams, routine care for infants, sick care, immunizations, school and sports physicals, and include english and spanish bilingual staff. Center for Family Health, provides access to primary and same day care to a wide range of patients, including those on insurance, medicaid, and those who do not have Health insurance. A sliding fee scale is used based on income. Since the clinic is part of kishwaukee college's campus, it provides convenient care to students and faculty in addition to serving the residents of the rural area around the college who have limited access to primary care without traveling.for fye 4/30/2015, the Center for Family Health Malta had 2,623 patient visits. Of these patients, 48% received medicaid assistance and 29% were self-pay/uninsured.
