The parks main street and dpr: the Center's main street programs operate in partnership with the district of columbia's department of small and local business development (dslbd), main street america, and the dc department of parks and recreation. As a Nonprofit, the parks main street provides technical assistance, grants, visibility, and capacity-building resources to help small businesses thrive and support the broader community.in addition, the Center leverages its extensive experience in grants administration, fiscal partnership, Nonprofit development, and management to support the dc department of parks and recreation in implementing a youth community grants program. This program is designed to assist Washington, dc Nonprofit organizations in their work to uplift and engage local youth.
Progressive life Center: the Center serves as the capacity building partner for progressive life Center (plc) in support of plc's overall partnership with the district of columbia's department of youth rehabilitation services (dyrs). The Center provides training, technical assistance and coaching to Nonprofit organizations and community leaders that receive grant funding to offer programming including education and career training.
Upper Georgia avenue: the Center's main street programs are in partnership with the district of columbia's department of small and local business development (dslbd) and main street america accredited. As nonprofits, main streets support small businesses and communities in efforts to grow and thrive by providing technical assistance, grants, exposure and overall capacity building. The upper Georgia avenue main street (ugams) corridor supports small businesses on Georgia avenue, nw Washington, dc from Missouri avenue to eastern avenue.
