Program areas at Center for Popular Democracy Action Fund

Campaignscpda's campaigns program organizes campaigns in concert with our network organizations that aim to ensure our communities have access to good schools, affordable housing, quality healthcare, equal opportunity for immigrants, criminal justice reform, greater corporate accountability, a resilient and fair economy, and a robust and responsive Democracy. In 2022, cpda worked with 48 affiliates and other partners to win over 60 policy victories for millions of people at the federal level, and across more than a dozen states.
Executive office programsexecutive office programs in 2023 included the network management program, special cultural initiatives, and hosting cpda's third people's convention, which brought over 1,200 affiliate members, affiliate staff, and cpda staff together from across the country in a large-scale convention to learn and plan together. In 2023, cpda's network management team provided support and capacity-building to cpda's network of 48 affiliates, including providing coaching and technical assistance in the areas of data management, organizing flow, and member leadership to the network, publishing and maintaining an ongoing calendar of engagement and Action opportunities for affiliates in the network, and organizing and convening network meetings with senior staff from affiliates to strategize and plan around key priorities.
Canvass networkcpda's canvass llc provides direct field capacity to our network of organizations and helps them move new contacts to Action through remote phone and text follow up. This work includes both direct support for individual affiliate organizations, as well as general activation of cpda network contacts towards network wide events or activities, including turnout to monthly national calls and larger events. Finally, cpda's national canvass supports research and testing of field tactics and flow, messaging, and list quality in partnership with cpda's in-house data team and external research partners to advance collective learning.
