Program areas at Center for Transforming Communities
The shared space program provides congregations, non-profits, and support groups with affordable office and meeting space to encourage their presence in low-income urban areas and enable them to serve their local neighbor more affordably.
Communities of shalom is a training/facilitation program designed to organize and mobilize people and resources to carry out strategies that bring positive change in their neighborhoods. Staff called "neighborhood connector" support the grass-roots neighborhood groups called "shalom zones" as well as serve as community organizers.
