For the past 4 decades, CoCA has presented hundreds of exhibits with over 3,000 artists represented. CoCA fosters the local art community by providing much needed exhibition space to over 300 contemporary artists each year.

Program areas at COCA

Coca hosted a special event - its annual marathon artist showcase and auction. A combination program service and fundraising activity.presented both in-person and virtually in 2022, it featured works by 25 Contemporary artists and three live performances. Eight marathon artists produced artwork specifically for this live streamed event - documenting and sharing their process and Art practices across Coca online platforms allowing for broader community engagement in the greater puget sound area and beyond.
Miscellaneous program activities including archive maintenance.
In 2022 Center on Contemporary Art (Coca) hosted monthly shows with local artists. Coca participated in the monthly seattle artwalk.
