Program areas at Central Coast Land Conservancy
Conservation Program Oversight and Stewardship. Worked with staffed and accredited land trusts in Tillamook, Lincoln, and Lane Counties and a watershed council who works with these and additional landtrusts to provide financial resources to be able to pursue land conservation opportunities and provide stewardship servies that our volunteer run group is unable to do effectively.
Fundraising, organizational development: Asked supporters for donations to support CCLC activities; held Board meetings, assured taxes and corporation registrations were up to date
Land Stewardship Activities and easemenet transfer: CCLC monitored our 4 conservation easements to ensure that the conditios of the easements are not violated. No violations wre noted. CCLC also worked with McKenzie River Trust, an accredited land trust, to introduce them to the land subject to the easements and to the property owners so that so that, over time, we can transfer these easements to them for care in perpetuity. One easement was transferred
Education and Outreach. Worked to reach out to landowners regarding conservation opportunities in the central coast area and worked with county, non-profit and state entities to map and prioritize these opportunities.
