Chacc provides services and activities including health and exercise classes through the family resources center, collaboration with nso of kennedy center, artspace emersion program, art and cultural workshops, and the art all night event. Cultural caucus programming at the reach at the kennedy center has expanded to a broader diverse audience reach and enhanced the caliber of events for greater impact. This partnership has allowed us to collaborate with top-tier creatives and present experiences such as arts markets, cabaret style performances and dj sets for the local cultural landscape.soufside creative at the well at oxon run is a commitment of chacc to enrich the Community through art programming. Curating family friendly events that integrate arts, health, wellness and nature for all ages. Chacc has been invited to continue this partnership to foster a holistic approach to Community engagement and enrichment.
Chacc provides rental space for local artists, small business entrepreneurs, and monthly board meetings for Community organizations at below market rates.
Chacc gallery typically shows the work of younger lesser known artists, with sometimes edgier or more experimental work. Inventory of art is acquired from local and international artists and other items are produced by local craft makers. Chacc art gallery has expanded to a second location within ward 8 under the soufside creative trade name. Chacc hosts soufside sip n shop which is family friendly event to support local creatives and craft makers. This recurring event offers a unique opportunity to engage with the local Community and discover the talents of artisans and entrepreneurs. The gallery relies primarily on donations and grants for operations. Artist receive payment for their work when it is purchased.
