Central New York Chapter NRHS preserves the region's railroad heritage. A monthly newsletter of railway events, past and present, is published and mailed to members. Program areas at Central New York Chapter NRHS

We maintain historic railway stations, rolling stock displays and other railroadianna that are open for public exhibit with knowledgable volunteers that are available for presentations.
We preserve and recondition historical railroad equipment that is operational and used for excurisons or specific displays. This includes a model railroad layout.
We publish and mail to members a monthly newsletter of railway events, past and present, which includes the maintenance of archival data augmented by our association with the national railroad historical society.
