To foster and nurture an interest in genealogy by providing instruction, information and inspiration to its members, and to encourage the compiling, writing and publishing of family histories and genealogical records for the benefit of future generations. Co-sponsored a 3-day conference with 625 attendees, 43 lectures and 33 vendors, the purpose of which was to educate attendees about genealogy and history in New York State.
