Program areas at Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity

Thirty limited income homeowners purchased houses in the year ended june 30, 2023. These were new houses built by Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity. These houses are built using some donated materials and labor and sold at cost at a below market interest rate. Mortgage payments are recycled to help build more new homes, reducing our need for fundraising.
The Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity restore sells new and used building materials, including donated goods. This helps to recycle items which would otherwise end up in landfills. The net profit from the restore is used to build new houses and fund the critical home repair program. Gross revenues on purchased inventory totaled $2,416,363 and expenses netted with revenue were $1,349,962 for gross profit of $1,066,400.
Weatherization and/or repairs were completed for sixty-seven low-income homeowners beginning july 1, 2022 and ending june 30, 2023. During fye 06/30/2023 contributions totaled $77,975, in-kind contributions totaled $20,680.
Miscellaneous items such as amortization of mortgage discount, sale of tax credits, energy rebates, as well as other program expense and income.
