Public Water policy and lobbying: ctwc developed luv the lakes, an educational outreach program designed to educate the public on the need for responsible Water management, encouraging conservation, and urging citizen involvement to help protect the lakes and our future.
Promote education on Water issues of the Colorado river basin
Legal and Water systems engineering and hydrology support on efforts with Water management, policy, permitting, planning and regulatory organizations such as lcra, Texas commission on environmental quality (tceq) and the Texas Water development board(twdb) and the associated regional Water planning group (region k). Worked to promote education on Water issues of the Colorado river basin. Specific efforts were on actively participating and making recommendations on the update of the lcra 2020 Water management plan (wmp) and the update of the 2021 region k Water plan. Ctwc's primary focus is on improving conservation for all users, fair Water pricing for all users, and working to assure accurate and adequate Water modeling and associated Water availability and sound Water managementpractices.
