Program areas at Centro Latino Americano

Children and family services (cfs) - the organization offers case management and resource navigation assistance to community members with a variety of basic needs (e.g., food, housing, health). Additionally, the organization provides families with the opportunity to grow their own organic food in order to increase their health, build community, and preserve cultural traditions around food. Those interested in starting or growing their business can participate in a 12-week class and receive technical assistance.
Education and other - the organization offers classes to help adult immigrants gain essential communication, work, and other skills, including esl, computer and citizenship classes. Families with children ages 0-13 can participate in a family literacy program that is for the entire household. Youth have the opportunity to participate in a leadership program and after-school programming. The organization also offers a parent education and leadership program.
Community behavioral health (cbh) - the organization provides individual and group counseling for those struggling with substance use disorders and mental health needs. These programs offer peer support services.
