Cp of nys is an education and advocacy organization that supports almost 30 independent affiliates and their 19,000 employees who provide direct services and programs for more than 100,000 people with Cerebral Palsy and other significant developmental disabilities. We support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (i/dd) and are a resource for their families. Our affiliates provide a wide variety of programs, including community living opportunities, day habilitation and day treatment programs, clinic and health services, early intervention, preschool and school age special education, and family support services, among others. Cp of nys obtains grants to advance disability system supports and to support people with i/dd so they can remain in the community and access services as others in our communities do, with our ground-breaking telehealth program and our community health outreach program. Cp of nys has been leading the way for development of disability system supports for almost 80 years, and we continue to look for opportunities for continued advancements that will improve the quality of life for people with i/dd and their families.
